This place is right off the main downtown area in Palm Springs across the street from the Marilyn Monroe statue. Honestly, we almost went to one of the touristy restaurants but we weren't feeling any of them and I am SO glad my husband found Ponzu. The weather was perfect so we sat outside on the patio around sunset. Service was very attentive from all of the staff and the sushi was so fresh and delicious!!!! The rolls pictured from left to right are the Palm Springs roll (the best one! Highly recommend) and vegan roll called Leaf Me Alone roll, which I surprising LOVED! The far right roll is the Orange Blossom roll which was really delicious as well, but a little overshadowed by the Palm Springs roll. The spicy garlic edamame was excellent! We had such an enjoyable evening and I cannot recommend this place enough!

Absolutely hands down the best sushi in the desert. Great margaritas too! Has a great vibe inside as well as great outdoor patio! Make this place a must visit on your trip to Palm Springs. We will be back!!

Another great place in Palm Springs for really delicious sushi, and it has become one of our two favorite “go to” restaurants in downtown Palm Springs. They have a great menu with many distinctive sushi rolls that you won’t find elsewhere. Service was great and prices are fair. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, but it is probably best to make a reservation on weekends or Friday nights. We will keep returning and will recommend this place to others.

The best thing about Ponzu is that there are so many different options of sushi. Particularly, they offer multiple ways for the sushi to be wrapped, not just in seaweed, but soy wraps and cucumbers (where two others that we tried). We loved our first order so much that we ended up getting a second round!

This is by far the best sushi in Southern California. I’ve been eating sushi since I was 10 years old and it used to be really good everywhere and then it lost its touch for a really long time so I’ve been scouring the Earth looking for good sushi. This place nails it on the head everything tastes amazing the atmosphere. There’s no TVs inside the weight. Staff is always checking on you. We always sit at the bar and have a great time. I should write a bad review just so people don’t overcrowd this place.

Absolutely loved this place! Food was incredibly fresh and yummy. The presentation was beautiful, and you can tell they take pride in both the quality and aesthetics of their food. Service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend if you're craving good sushi and a fun night out!
